As Pomona Choice Energy works to provide clean power at competitive rates, we’re proud to share a special offer from our partner, OhmConnect, to help customers save even more money this summer. 

Pomona Choice Energy has teamed up with Emporia to provide Pomona residents with discounted energy efficiency devices to conserve power, lower electricity bills and benefit the environment. 

Summer is around the corner and heatwaves will be here again soon. Pomona Choice Energy encourages customers to conserve energy during the upcoming summer months to keep the electricity grid stable and avoid rolling blackouts. 

Each year, at the end of the 12-month relevant period, Pomona Choice Solar customers true-up their balances with SCE. The annual true-up process involves reviewing the monthly statements to determine the amount of solar energy you used versus generated. Based on that calculation, you may be eligible for an energy credit from Pomona Choice Energy. 

Pomona Choice Energy, managed by the City of Pomona, is your local, not-for-profit energy provider. We purchase electricity on behalf of residents and local businesses while Southern California Edison (SCE) continues to deliver that energy through its power lines to your home or business, and bills you. 

Pomona Choice Energy, created by the City of Pomona specifically for residents and local businesses, offers the community a choice where there wasn’t one before. The program, also known as a community choice energy program, is an alternative to Southern California Edison (SCE), the local private utility and previously the only power provider in the City.

Pomona Choice Energy is proud to partner with Emporia to offer Pomona residents access to essential tools to save energy, lower electricity costs and help the environment. The joint program will allow customers to procure Emporia Level 2 EV charges, Vue Energy Monitors and Smart plugs at discounted rates.
